What is Tuesday's Angels?

  • Tuesday's Angels is a nonprofit Section 501(c)3 Organization that provides funding on an emergency basis to men, women and children with HIV/AIDS. One hundred percent of all dollars received by Tuesday's Angels go directly to individuals or to selected organizations that have clients that have little or no income. People living with HIV/AIDS are often unable to work and are frequently hospitalized. Upon proper documents, assistance is often given the same day.

What does Tuesday's Angels fund?

  • The Organization pays for a variety of expenses incurred by its clients. This includes rental and mortgage assistance, utility bills, medical and dental expenses, transportation, cremation and funeral expenses, and other necessary expenses.

Who funds Tuesday's Angels?

  • The Organization consists of over three hundred 'angels', many of whom attend dinner meetings that are scheduled on the first Tuesday of the Month. Each 'angel' is requested to make a contribution at each dinner. There are other organizations and businesses that make contributions. In addition, there are various fundraisers throughout the year that bring additional revenue into the organization. Major sources of income come from the "100% Solution - Bike Ride for Life" in April, as well as, the Annual Golf Tournament in the Fall.

Why are there few expenses?

  • There are very few expenses in running the organization due to low overhead from working out of our homes so that office expenses aren't incurred and having no full time staff, simply a very part time bookkeeper. Board Members and interest income cover these expenses.

How does someone request assistance?

  • To receive assistance, a person with HIV/AIDS should contact their case manager who will fill out our application and supply the supporting documentation (proof of income, health status, and a bill) and send it to us for consideration.
